Bettas ~ White HM x White HM ~ 8/4/08

Alright! we’re trying again with the white pair (Llew and Gowin). They have been together but separate in the breeding tank for 2 days now. She’s showing her stripes a bit so I just put them together. She went right to the nest and looked around and started to nudge Llew, but he jsut took a chunk out of her fins! OY! I’ve never seen him that aggressive before!  I’m going to keep a close eye on them tonight and if there’s nothing going on by the time I’m going to bed, she’ll go back in the breeding trap.

8/6 - Well alright, this didn’t work out. I kept them together for a few days and nothing at all, they kept to the opposite sides of the tank and aren’t getting close. So they’ve been put back in their seperate tanks and we’ll try again in a month or so.
