Bettas ~ Blue HM x Blue HM ~ 8/8/08

Well since my other pair didn’t work out this time around, I put Taliesin and Charis together in the breeder tank last night.  About noon today I released Charis and with in an hour they were spawning. I did get a video of them which I will post soon.   The pictures of Charis above do not do her justice and I’m going to have to get some new ones of her. She’s a dark blue with green in her body, totally beautiful!  This is their first spawn, they are still young and came from DownSouthBettas. Thank you Erma!!! Dad is taking care of the eggs and all is well!

9/25/08 - okay, I know no update with these in a while, but today I moved 10 babies from the 10g to a 20 grow out. some are shoing their stripes already and blueish tint. I’m excited about them! Mom and Dad are doing great too. I’ll be taking a lot of pics soon so hopefully some will be included of these.
