Bettas - Black Plakat X Black Plakat ~ 1/7/09

1/6/09 - Just put in a 10g breeding tank both Fuin my black roundtail/plakat (not sure what the official word on him is yet) and a black plakat female. Half styro cup, breeder trap for the girl, an indian almond leaf, some java moss, a few marimo balls for the fry and a sponge filter. We shall see!

1/7/09 - I let the female loose (don’t have a name for her yet, I’m not convinced of her longevity) as Fuin built up a nice bubble nest last night and is really putting on the show for her. Well, she’s none to interested in him, he took out a bit of her bottom fin, so she’s back in the breeder trap and we’ll try again in a few days. Will get a few pics of her soon.
